The sidewalks of my neighborhood are littered with rubber bands that mailmen use to bundle the mail for individual households. I started collecting them after somebody told me that they don't disintegrate, they just add to the pollution. It took about about fifty rubber bands to make a Ping Pong size ball (see improvised stress ball #6). Then I started to bundle other things with them, things I would find underfoot during my daily walk. Since I carry no tools nor binding material, the rubber bands provides a great opportunity to create small sculptures as I walk. Three dimensional diaries of the walk itself.
